Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) headquartered in Silver Spring, Maryland, is the humanitarian agency of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The basis for its existence, its reason for being, is to follow Jesus Christ’s example by being a voice for, serving, and partnering with those in need.

ADRA seeks to identify and address social distortions and deprivation in developing countries. The agency’s work is a representative expression of Seventh-day Adventists’ desire to improve the quality of life of those in need. ADRA invests in the potential of these individuals through community development initiatives targeting food, security, economic development, primary health, and basic education. ADRA’s emergency management initiatives provide aid to disaster survivors.

Adventist Development and Relief Agency Canada, The Adventist Development and Relief Agency Canada in Oshawa, Ontario, is an independent humanitarian agency established by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Canada for the specific purpose of individual and community development and disaster relief. In 2005, ADRA Canada celebrates its 20th anniversary. Last year, ADRA Canada partnered with agencies in 54 countries. It also supports more than 150 projects in Canada every year. ADRA Canada recognizes the dignity that is inherent in each person and is committed to improving the quality of human life. It serves people without regard to their ethnic, political, or religious association. ADRA Canada is part of the ADRA International network operating in more than one hundred countries.

Adventist Risk Management, Inc. (ARM), headquartered in Silver Spring, Maryland, is a ministry of active stewardship. For more than 70 years we have provided risk management services and insurance products specifically designed to protect the ministries of the Seventh-day Adventist Church worldwide. 

Our services include client visitation, insurance placement, claims management, risk management education, and loss prevention. We produce resources for churches and schools focusing on prevention and safety. Our newsletter, Solutions, highlights industry news and issues affecting our church worldwide. We recently launched our Wellness Station, a web-based program on health management.

Hope Channel, With offices in Silver Spring, Maryland, the Hope Channel is the official satellite television network of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Saturating the globe with six different channels on nine satellites, the network shares the eternal hope found in Jesus Christ 24 hours a day through teaching programs, music, drama, and other interesting programming. Intersection: Your Faith, Your World is a 30 minute weekly television program produced by the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. The panelists discuss topics that  affect every Christian's life, and present an Adventist take on current issues. The discussions range from social to spiritual to family and feature a variety of different experts, church leaders, teachers, and lay members of the Adventist Church.

It Is Written International Television, Simi Valley, California, a deeply spiritual ministry passionate about communicating the gospel to the world through a weekly television program, worldwide evangelistic ministry, and resources for Christian living and witnessing. North American Division Adventist Community Services, Silver Spring, Maryland, is the domestic humanitarian agency of the Seventh-day Adventist Church that meets people’s immediate needs through social services at more than 1,000 localities in nearly 200 cities in the United States and Bermuda.
